Right on! 'Volcanic Rock' is such a tremendously heavy album, literally from start to finish. Playing the record on a good stereo system, with the volume turned up, I swear you can see the sky curdle like sour milk and clouds ooze like melted marshmallows. And that isn't from acid; it is sheer unadulterated, heavy rock 'n roll of the grimiest, grittiest, and finest order! Be careful doing the above on headphones, however, as your skull may implode!
There are LP reissues out there, but if one can find (and afford) a clean copy on Vertigo, do not sleep on it. 🤘
