"The Algorithm" by Filter marks a notable shift in the band's sound. The album comes after a seven-year hiatus and precedes Filter's tour with renowned artists Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, and Ministry. Produced in collaboration with Brian Virtue, the first single "Obliteration” is accompanied by an animated video crafted by German filmmaker Atanas Shopski, which paints a post-apocalyptic world.
