Descendents - 9th & Walnut
Descendents classic lineup of vocalist Milo Aukerman, bassist Tony Lombardo, guitarist Frank Navetta, and drummer Bill Stevenson began work on the record in 2002 but had not finished the album by the time of Navetta’s death in 2008. In 2020, Stevenson sent the 2002 recordings to Aukerman, who recorded his vocals at home before sending them back to Stevenson for mixing.
Immersion - Nanocluster, Vol. 1
Colin Newman of Wire and Malka Spigel of Minimal Compact are joined by Laetitia Sadier of Stereolab, Scanner, Ulrich Schnauss, and Tarwater on their sixth collaborative album, Nanocluster Vol. 1.

Ida - Will You Find Me
Layered vocal harmonies, sparse arrangements, and subtle genre-mixing entrance the listener on Ida's 2000 album Will You Find Me
While 90s rock is known for the volume-pushing bands from Seattle, Boston, Chicago, and other parts around the world, a loose movement of quiet and introspective artists rallied (quietly) around sparse arrangements, hushed vocals, and an appreciation for traditional to 60s folk. Ida covers most of that ground and more on their fourth album, 2000's Will You Find Me. Thanks to a wide range of guest musicians and a major label budget, the band incorporates electric piano, Moog, Wurlitzer, viola, and a host of other instruments to fill out the nooks and crannies of their deliberate sound. When at their best, the foursome uses the three vocals to perfection, crafting haunting and beautiful soundscapes. But on the flip-side, some of the less fussed-over tracks sound bare in comparison, or tracks meander when they should be more concise. Special guests: Steve Muczynski - DMO Union, Vadim Taver - Guitarist, Poison The Well And A Life Once Lost
