Shawn Brown is a singer, songwriter, novelist, and music scribbler now based in Portland, Oregon. As a musician, Brown first received attention for his 2005 single âLucky Boyâ, which was featured in several television shows, as did 2007âs âThe Riskâ. He has toured both nationally and internationally in the past, as well as spending time away from touring to write for other artists. His featured articles have run across platforms like AOL/Yahoo Music and he is currently writing multiple monthly features for Stereo Embers Magazine. His new EP âAngel of Oaklandâ, was recorded with members of Shakiraâs band and can be found anywhere music is streaming.
