Tom started Washed Up Emo in 2007 to talk about the mid 90s/early 2000 emo and post-hardcore scene. In 2011 he started a DJ night with a friend in NYC and started a podcast interviewing the folks from this scene for an in depth look at music from this era. In 2017 he published his first book, Anthology of Emo Volume One.
